Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale mode is currently slated to launch on October 28th, according to a report from insider source ModernWarzone. The release will follow the main game launch by approximately 18 days.
The planned October 28th release date positions Battlefield 6’s entry into the Battle Royale arena just weeks before the November 14th launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, setting the stage for a important competitive showdown between the two franchises. Currently, the Battle Royale mode is undergoing testing through battlefield Labs, indicating the date remains subject to change.
ModernWarzone, known for previously accurate leaks regarding both Battlefield and Call of Duty titles, shared the details via X (formerly Twitter). The account noted the date is the current plan, but cautioned it could shift due to ongoing testing.
“SOURCES: Battlefield 6 Battle Royale is currently planned to launch on October 28th, 18 days after the launch of the game,” ModernWarzone posted on September 16, 2025. “This date is subject to change as always, especially with the BR currently in testing in BF labs, but I’ve heard it is the current plan for launch.”
EA has not yet officially confirmed the October 28th release date for the Battlefield 6 Battle Royale mode.
