Digital Marketing & Web Analytics Specialist – University of Ottawa
The University of Ottawa is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing & Webโข Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving our digital presence, optimizing user experiences, and โmaximizingโข the impact of our marketing investments.
Responsibilities:
Thisโ position demands a hands-on professional capable of independently programming, configuring, and launching extensive digital marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms including PPC, Google Ads, โMeta, Stackadapt, and LinkedIn. You will beโ responsible for โthe full campaignโ lifecycle,from strategy and implementationโ to ongoing monitoring and optimization. A key aspectโ of this roleโ is โestablishing โคrobust tracking and measurement systems, including the configuration of campaign โคmonitoring, tag management (Google Tag manager), and data flow utilizing UTM parameters and conversion APIs.
You will leverage advanced โขexpertise in web analytics tools – Googleโข Analytics,Tag Manager,Data Studio,Site Improve,Semrush,and โฃCMS platforms (specifically Drupal) – to provide data-driven insights and recommendations. This includes a strong understanding of content strategy, โคdigital โstorytelling, and user journey optimization.The successful candidate โขwillโข haveโฃ demonstrable experience managingโข advertising โbudgets at the sixโ to seven-figure โlevel, ensuring responsibleโค and effective allocation of resources.

Qualifications:
Advanced Master’s degree in โคaโ related field with a strong focus onโ websites and analytics.
โDemonstratedโ ability to program, configure and launch digital marketing campaigns on advertising platforms (e.g. PPC, Google Ads, โฃMeta, stackadapt, LinkedIn).
Experience withโ the configuration of campaign monitoring, tag management systems and data circulation through digital ecosystems (eg UTM, Google Tag Manager, conversion API).
Proven experience managing advertising budgets of $600,000 – $7,000,000+.
Proven experience โขin content strategy,โ digital narration and optimization of user routes.
Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and personal information protection laws related to digital communications.
