Samsung Art TV: Your 24/7 Home Gallery | Artwork & Design

by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor February 14, 2026
written by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor

Samsung is offering consumers the ability to transform their televisions into personalized art galleries with its “The Frame” television and accompanying Art Store. The technology allows users to display a curated selection of over 3,000 artworks when the television is not in leverage, effectively turning a household appliance into a dynamic art installation.

The Samsung Art Store provides access to a diverse range of pieces, including “COLOR FIELD” by Igor Vitomirov, “Jacaranda in Bloom” by Jessica Miller, and Vincent Van Gogh’s “Irises,” among others. The service allows owners of The Frame television to cycle through artwork, creating a constantly changing display. Users can redeem vouchers for artwork through the Samsung Art Store directly on their television.

Beyond pre-loaded options, The Frame’s Art Mode allows users to display their own personal photographs, further customizing the viewing experience. This feature transforms the television from a passive entertainment device into an active element of interior design, offering a continuous visual experience even when switched off. The technology is designed to blend seamlessly into living spaces, mimicking the appearance of a framed picture when displaying art or photos.

The availability of thousands of artworks, including pieces sourced from public domain collections like those offered by the Smithsonian, Unsplash, and Wikimedia, provides a legally compliant and extensive library for users to choose from. Framecrop.app highlights the availability of these public domain options, allowing consumers to access museum-quality art at home without copyright concerns.
