beloved RPG “Chrono Trigger“ to Receive 30th Anniversary Orchestral Concert
Tokyo, Japan – Square Enix announced today a special orchestral concert, “CHRONO TRIGGER Orchestra Concert: A melody that transcends time,” to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the critically acclaimed role-playing game, Chrono Trigger. The concert will feature the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra performing arrangements of the game’s iconic soundtrack, conducted by nicholas Buck.
Released in 1995, chrono Trigger remains a landmark title in the RPG genre, celebrated for its innovative gameplay, compelling story, and unforgettable music composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. This concert offers fans a unique prospect to experience the game’s score brought to life in a live orchestral setting. All seats are reserved, and tickets will be delivered digitally as picture tickets.the concert will be held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on January 17, 2026, with two performances at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. January 18, 2026, will host four performances with opening times at 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM. Ticket prices are ¥11,000 for S seats and ¥8,800 for A seats, including tax.Applications for tickets will be accepted via a lottery system through the Square Enix e-STORE from Monday, September 1st, 2025, at 12:00 PM to Wednesday, September 17th, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Winners will be notified around 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025, and will have until 11:59 PM on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, to complete payment.Membership registration is required to apply for the lottery.
