Luke Filby, Freeman’s nephew, stated, “He wouldn’t want the satisfaction of the government taking his life, for the government to take his life. He wouldn’t want to give them that satisfaction.”
Police are keeping all options open in the investigation, seeking any contact or evidence confirming Freeman’s whereabouts and wellbeing. The search intensifies as concerns grow regarding Freeman’s potential state of mind, with Filby suggesting his uncle may have taken his own life.
