Bayern Munich is reportedly intensifying it’s pursuit of Liverpool winger Luis Díaz, submitting a new offer to secure the Colombian’s signature this summer. The Bundesliga giants are keen to bolster their attacking options under new manager Vincent Kompany ahead of the upcoming season.
Sky Sport has revealed that bayern’s latest proposal follows Liverpool’s rejection of an initial bid valued at €67.5 million. Negotiations are understood to be ongoing, with Bayern’s leadership, including Jan-Christian Dreesen and Max Eberl, actively working to finalize the transfer during the current window.
Sources indicate that the 28-year-old Díaz has expressed a willingness to join the Bavarian club, contingent on an agreement being reached between the two teams. Should the deal materialize, reports suggest Díaz could sign a contract with Bayern Munich extending until 2029, though the negotiations are described as being in a delicate phase and not guaranteed to conclude successfully.

Díaz’s reported desire to depart Anfield comes amid Liverpool’s summer activity in strengthening their forward line, which could potentially impact his first-team opportunities in the next campaign.
Since his €54 million move from Porto in January 2022, Díaz has made 148 appearances for Liverpool, contributing 41 goals and 23 assists. During his tenure with the Reds,he has secured several major honors, including the Premier League title, the FA Cup,two League Cups, and the FA Community Shield.
While his current contract with Liverpool runs until 2027, the player appears open to a new challenge in Germany, provided a mutually agreeable financial settlement can be reached.
