Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 to Gain mouse Control Support on Nintendo Switch 2
Nintendo has confirmed that Super Mario Galaxy + Super mario Galaxy 2 will support mouse controls when played on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. The feature, detailed on nintendo’s Japanese website, will be implemented via a free update following the game’s launch.
The update will also enable 4K support for the game when running on the new console. Mouse functionality will be compatible with the Joy-Con 2 controller.Nintendo has not yet released specifics on how the mouse controls will function, but anticipates a similar experience to the Wii Remote’s use in the original releases. Players can expect to utilize the cursor for tasks like collecting Star Bits, and potentially for Yoshi gameplay as seen in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
