Suno, the AI music generation platform, is producing the equivalent of an entire Spotify catalog’s worth of music every two weeks, according to a recently revealed pitch deck. The company boasts 1 million subscribers, a 300% year-over-year increase, and is actively planning expansions into social media features and voice modification tools, despite ongoing copyright lawsuits.
The deck details Suno’s vision to transform music consumption into an ”active participatory culture,” allowing users to “create, listen and inspire.” This ambition is coupled with a focus on user retention, a key metric highlighted in the materials, as the company navigates legal challenges related to copyright infringement. Suno currently retains approximately 25% of subscribers after 30 days, with 78% weekly retention for subscribers and 39% weekly retention for all users.
Suno’s plans include a TikTok-like vertical video platform featuring a “create Hook” button, designed to encourage remixing and collaboration. The company also showcased the viral success of AI band The Velvet Sundown as evidence of its cultural impact beyond its own platform.
As of July 2025, Suno claims to be “reactivating” 350,000 users per week – those returning after a month of inactivity – attributing this to new features, increased awareness, and model improvements. The pitch deck notably omits any discussion of the company’s ongoing legal battles with copyright holders or plans for licensing musical content.
