Kansas City’s Tory Lanham and South Dakota’s Landon Olson, Berkeley Engelland, and Anna Willis were named Summit League Indoor Track and Field Peak Performers of the Week, League officials announced Tuesday. Lanham and Olson earned the honors on the men’s side, while Engelland and Willis were recognized for their performances on the women’s side.

Lanham, a junior sprinter from Kansas City, Missouri, secured first place in the 200m at the Missouri Invitational with a time of 20.93 seconds. The time matched his personal best and established a new Kansas City school record. It was the only sub-21 second time recorded in the Summit League during the indoor season. Lanham also finished second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.83 seconds. This marks the fifth time Lanham has received the League’s weekly indoor award during his career.

Olson, a senior jumper from Battle Creek, Nebraska, placed second in the high jump competition at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, clearing a season-best height of 7-1” (2.16m). His jump is tied for 21st nationally and ranks second in the Summit League.

Engelland, a sophomore mid-distance runner from Mitchell, South Dakota, achieved a personal-best time of 2:08.12 in the 800m at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, finishing second in the event. She currently ranks 83rd in the NCAA and first in the Summit League in the 800m. Engelland also placed fourth in the 400m with a time of 56.14 seconds.

Her vault ranks seventh in the NCAA this season and second in the Summit League. Willis’s mark also places her third all-time in the South Dakota indoor record book. This is the third career indoor weekly accolade for Willis.
