Bludenzer Liederkranz Celebrates Successful Year
Choristers Gather for Festive Dinner and Review
Singers from the Bludenzer Liederkranz convened with their partners to mark the conclusion of their club year, enjoying a convivial dinner that celebrated their achievements.
Tribute to Leadership and Camaraderie
The event, held on the terrace of Hotel Dörflinger Castle in Bludenz, saw Obmand Peter Bilgeri reflecting on the past year’s successful performances. He specifically lauded the dedication and expertise of Choir director Mario Ploner, attributing much of the group’s success to his guidance.
Bilgeri highlighted the active club life, noting that numerous, well-attended rehearsals and impactful appearances underscored the strong camaraderie among members. This reflects a growing trend in community arts groups; for instance, the Vienna Boys’ Choir, a globally recognized ensemble, emphasizes rigorous practice schedules alongside performance to maintain its exceptional standard, often performing over 300 times a year globally.
Looking Ahead to Autumn Engagements
As the club transitions into its summer break, Bilgeri offered a glimpse into upcoming autumn activities, including new trials and planned appearances. He extended wishes for a restful period, anticipating a renewed enthusiasm from the members when they reconvene.
