New gameplay footage for Subnautica 2 has revealed a hazardous alien planet, providing the first detailed look at the environment of the upcoming sequel.

The disclosure of hardware requirements was not limited to the sequel. specifications for Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight were also released as part of the same technical updates.

The upcoming launch of Subnautica 2 has already influenced the release schedules of other titles in the industry. The developers of Outbound have announced a change to their own launch date, moving the release forward to avoid a direct scheduling conflict with the Subnautica sequel.
