Straight Talk Upgrades Unlimited Plans With More Data and 5G Access

Straight Talk has officially refreshed its unlimited mobile plan lineup, providing increased data allowances and expanded network access across its Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers. These enhancements are available immediately to customers without any increase to the plans’ monthly base prices.

Upgrades to the Silver Unlimited Plan

The $45-per-month Silver Unlimited plan serves as the primary beneficiary of these changes. Subscribers now gain access to 5G Ultra Wideband, a feature previously reserved for higher-tier plans. According to Verizon, this network technology offers speeds up to three times faster than standard 5G connectivity. Additionally, the Silver plan’s mobile hotspot data allowance has been increased from 10GB to 15GB.

Gold Plan Boosts Hotspot Capacity and Adds International Perks

Subscribers on the $55 Gold plan will see a significant boost in mobile hotspot capacity, with the allowance rising from 30GB to 50GB. Meanwhile, the $65 Platinum plan maintains its existing unlimited hotspot data provision. Beyond data increases, the carrier has introduced new international perks:

• Silver: Now includes unlimited calling and texting to Canada, Mexico, India, and China.
• Gold: Includes unlimited calling and texting to over 200 destinations, along with 10GB of roaming in Canada and Mexico.

Unlimited Plan Subscribers Can Add Discounted Home Internet

Straight Talk is also expanding its connectivity options by extending its discounted Home Internet bundle to all unlimited plan subscribers. Customers on any of the three tiers can now add Home Internet service for $35 per month, representing a $10 savings over the standard price. The updated plans are currently available for purchase through the Straight Talk website and at Walmart locations.
