Stephanie Wilder Named Director of Campus and Community Events at Walsh University

Walsh University Welcomes Stephanie Monastra Wilder as​ Director of ⁣Campus and Community Events

Walsh University has appointed Stephanie Monastra Wilder as its new Director of Campus and community Events. In this role,⁣ Wilder ‌will be responsible for the⁣ management and rental of ⁣all Walsh⁢ University facilities, including ‍the Barrette Business and Community ‍Center, Hoover⁤ Park and Hoover Hall, ⁤the⁤ Cecchini Health and Wellness Complex⁢ (in coordination with Athletics), and other campus venues.

Wilder will oversee both on-campus‍ events⁤ for University departments, personnel, and student organizations,‌ as well as special events hosted by external community groups, fostering ⁢engagement ⁤between Walsh and the local area.

She brings over 25 years of experience in event management, hospitality, and ‍client relations to Walsh⁣ University. Most recently, Wilder served as Director of the Conference Center⁢ at Kent State university at Stark, where she ‌focused on event ​operations and building community partnerships.Prior to that, she spent 13 years‍ at⁢ Diebold, Inc., holding leadership positions in global ‌and corporate event planning, managing large-scale international events and budgets.

Wilder’s expertise has been​ widely recognized within the events industry, with accolades including IMA, SITE ⁣Crystal, and ⁢Telly Awards,⁢ and also a ​nomination for MPI Meeting Planner of the year – ⁢Ohio ⁢chapter.⁢

She⁣ holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Governance from Bowling Green State University (cum laude) and‌ an Executive MBA from Kent State University. Wilder is ⁢also actively involved in community service, having volunteered​ with organizations like Meeting Professionals international, United‌ Way,​ the‍ American Heart Association, and Arts in Stark.
