Iowa STEM‍ Day at State ⁣Fair Offers Hands-on Experiences

Des Moines, Iowa – Attendees at the Iowa State‍ Fair⁣ will have⁢ the chance to engage in dozens​ of hands-on activities at the annual‍ STEM Day, hosted by the Iowa Governor’s ⁢STEM Advisory Council and the‍ Iowa⁣ department of Education. The event, scheduled for Sunday, will feature live performances and interactive exhibits from businesses ‌and organizations‍ across​ the ‌state.

From 10 a.m.​ to 3 p.m., visitors to the grand⁤ concourse can explore exhibits and ⁣enjoy live performances on the⁢ MidAmerican Energy​ Stage. ⁤Performers include representatives‌ from the Blank Park Zoo,the Grout Museum,Wartburg College,and the Local 5 Weather lab experience. [[1]]
