Moraas, Germany – SV Tractor Moraas sports club celebrates 70 years of connection to the village, marked by continuous expansion adn a commitment to volunteerism, now boasting over 300 members across 15 sports. Recent renovations, completed in 2022, demonstrate the club’s dedication to adapting to community needs and providing modern facilities.
Founded seven decades ago, SV Tractor Moraas has become integral to village life, consistently growing and evolving alongside its community. Club President Blättrich emphasizes the respect deserved for the dedicated volunteers who make it all possible. The club’s growth necessitated expansions and rebuilds to accommodate new sports offerings, with members consistently supporting these developments.
In 2022, a former sanitary building underwent extensive redesign as a leadership project, transforming a former football changing room into a modern practice space for Yoga, Karate, and Darts. The renovation also included a repair workshop for the archery and crossbow center, and a boardroom for meetings.
Modernization extended to toilet facilities, now accessible from the outside and including a disabled-accessible toilet. the €49,500 renovation was funded through a combination of grants and donations. The standard dance division is also part of the sports club.
