Adrian Martin Vega Returns to Spotlight as Chilean Telethon Resurfaces 2015 Breakout

Spanish singer Adrian Martin Vega has reemerged in public attention as discussions around the Chilean Teletón recall his breakout performance a decade ago, Guioteca reported on November 5, 2026. Born on January 28, 2005, the Málaga-born artist was just 10 years old when he took the stage at the Estadio Nacional in 2015 to perform Rosario Flores’s song “Qué Bonito.”

The performance followed a viral video featuring Martin Vega singing the same track alongside his sister, Sonia. That recording circulated widely on the internet and television networks in Spain and abroad, leading to his appearance in the talent contest “Mamá, quiero ser artista,” where he took first place.

From Viral Video to Latin Grammy Nomination

Following his television success, Martin Vega recorded his debut album, “Lleno de Vida.” The release earned a gold disc and secured a nomination at the 2016 Latin Grammys in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category. He subsequently released a second album titled “No Me Doy por Vencido.”

Meganoticias reported that the singer’s television appearances included a special Three Kings gala on Spain’s Telecinco network in January 2017, where he performed alongside other musical acts. His connection with Chile persisted past his initial 2015 appearance, leading to return invitations for the Teletón charity broadcasts in 2017 and 2023.

Performances in Chile and Current Music Work

During the November 2023 Teletón campaign, Martin Vega performed at the Quinta Vergara amphitheater, reprising “Qué Bonito” for audiences in Chile. Ahead of that appearance, Pagina 7 reported that the singer expressed enthusiasm for returning to the country. “Estoy muy contento y muy ilusionado,” Martin Vega told Pagina 7, noting that he had strong motivations to perform in Viña del Mar and support the charity’s fundraising efforts. Regarding his career, he added that being on stage offers him a sense of freedom and happiness.

Now 21 years old, Martin Vega maintains an active presence on Instagram under the handle @adrianmartinvega, where he shares updates about his music and connects with more than 200,000 followers.
