Sony Korea Launches Immersive “Sound of Seongsu” Pop-Up Featuring WH-1000XM6 Headphones

Sony Korea has unveiled an innovative pop-up store, “Sound of Seongsu,” in collaboration with AMOREPACIFIC‘s cultural space, Amore Seongsu. This unique experiential exhibit allows visitors to engage with Sony’s latest WH-1000XM6 wireless noise-canceling headphones through a multi-sensory journey designed to transcend customary audio experiences.

The “Sound of Seongsu” pop-up aims to showcase the advanced noise-canceling capabilities and premium sound quality of the WH-1000XM6 by translating them into a deeply immersive and emotionally resonant experience. Within the healing-focused habitat of AMORE HANG,Sony’s cutting-edge sound technology is integrated with audio-driven programs and visually stimulating ASMR content,offering a novel approach to immersive audio.

The pop-up is structured into three distinct zones: a Reception area, Garden Lounge A, and Garden Lounge B. The Reception space provides a visual prelude to the auditory immersion, conceptualizing the “visualization of sound” before users even don the WH-1000XM6. Garden Lounge A and B are dedicated to amplifying the content from AMOREPACIFIC’s ASMR channel, “Healing Times.” in these lounges, the WH-1000XM6 headphones are seamlessly connected to televisions and personal tablets, maximizing user engagement with the curated ASMR content.

To further enhance visitor participation, Sony Korea has organized two engaging events. The “Audio Dawent Stamp Event” invites visitors to collect QR codes from each space after experiencing the audio dawent program. Completing this collection enters participants into a lottery with the WH-1000XM6 headphones as the grand prize. Additionally, the “WH-1000XM6 Experience Instagram Event” encourages visitors to share their experiences by posting certified photos with the product in the pop-up store, accompanied by a designated hashtag, to complete their entry.

The WH-1000XM6, Sony’s sixth-generation flagship wireless noise-canceling headphones, are at the heart of this experience. They feature the latest HD Noise Canceling Processor QN3 and an array of 12 microphones, engineered to deliver unparalleled noise-blocking performance.
