Sony Pictures Entertainment Germany Launches Six New YouTube Channels with Little Dot studios
Sony Pictures Entertainment in Germany has partnered with All3Media-owned Little Dot Studios to expand its reach in the German-speaking market with the launch of six new German-language YouTube channels.The initiative aims to capitalize on the growing demand for on-demand entertainment and target new audiences in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
The rollout began with Absolute Action, a channel dedicated to crime, thriller, and western films, which is already live.Five additional channels will debut at the end of September: Comfy Movies (comedy, drama, romcom, and family films), Retro Gems (nostalgic series), CineCult Reloaded (classic sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, and horror), Making Legends (history), and Throwback Series (iconic TV shows).
The combined media library boasts over 1,000 films and series, totaling more than 2,000 hours of content. Titles include popular shows like Dawson’s Creek,Charlie’s Angels,mad About You,Just Shoot Me,and I Know Who Killed Me.
Little Dot Studios’ Germany-based team will oversee all aspects of channel management, including strategic planning, content selection, daily publishing, and community engagement, with a primary focus on content monetization and audience growth.
