The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications utilizing Python, building and managing containerized applications with Docker, and designing and optimizing database solutions with MongoDB. The position also encompasses ensuring smooth Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes throughout the software development lifecycle.

System administration tasks will be required to maintain operational stability across multiple locations. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, along with seven years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs of similar scope and complexity. Alternatively, four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Proficiency in Python, Docker, and MongoDB is essential, as is a strong understanding of Git and collaborative workflows.
Experience with Javascript frameworks such as Angular2 and/or React for UI development is also desired. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies is expected. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required. Exposure to tools like Ansible, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Terraform is considered a plus, as is familiarity with Kubernetes.
