Vermillion, S.D. – The Central michigan women’s soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of South Dakota Sunday, concluding a three-game road trip. The loss drops the Chippewas‘ nonconference record to [record not specified in original text].
Central Michigan’s goalkeeper, senior transfer Taylor Primack (Lindenhurst, Ill. / Lakes Community), made her debut wiht the team and recorded five saves. The lone goal of the match came in the 41st minute when South Dakota capitalized on a cross and header from inside the 6-yard box.
The Chippewas managed 12 total shots, with nine different players contributing.
