Voxel Miami Heist Game ’Snatch Squad’ Announced for PC
A cooperative heist game blending the neon-soaked aesthetic of Grand Theft auto: Vice City with the tactical gameplay of Payday has been announced for PC. Snatch Squad, developed by an independent team, promises “dynamic police chases and ambushes” within a voxel-styled open world inspired by Miami. Players will navigate distinct city districts, engage in turf wars with rival gangs, and execute elaborate heists – all while attempting to launder money.
The game aims to deliver a uniquely styled take on the cooperative crime genre, offering a visually distinct experience through it’s voxel art style. Developers state, ”From car chases to turf wars, the city is alive – a voxel-styled Miami where ambition can make you king…or get you killed.” Snatch Squad is currently available to wishlist on Steam, with a release date yet to be announced.
