Gicome QS1 Pro Mini PC to showcase Snapdragon X Elite, Targeting January 2025 Release

The Gicome QS1 Pro, a highly anticipated mini PC powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor, is slated for unveiling at CES 2025 in January, according to recent reports. Originally announced in December, the device promises a important leap in performance and portability, possibly disrupting the compact computing market.The QS1 Pro is built around the Snapdragon X1E-80-100 processor, featuring 12 Orion CPU cores, an Adreno X1-85 GPU with 3.8 TFLOPs of power, and a Hexagon NPU capable of 45 TOPS. This configuration, combined with support for up to 64GB of LPDDR5-5600 memory and a 4TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD, positions the QS1 Pro as a compelling alternative to traditional mini PCs.Measuring 13.5cm wide, 11.55cm deep, and 3.45cm tall, the device boasts a robust aluminum chassis. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a thorough array of ports: two USB Type-A ports, a 3.5mm audio jack,a fingerprint reader,one USB 3.2 Type-A port, one USB4 port, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, a 2.5Gb Ethernet port, a MicroSDXC card reader, and a Kensington lock slot. The system will ship with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and includes four microphones.

Pricing and availability remain undisclosed, but further details are expected to be revealed at CES 2025. The QS1 Pro represents a significant step forward for Qualcomm’s entry into the dedicated PC market,showcasing the potential of ARM-based processors to deliver desktop-level performance in a compact form factor.
