Sinterklaas Brings Joy to Mill in Annual Arrival Celebration
Mill, Netherlands – November 16, 2023 – A large crowd welcomed Sinterklaas and his team of Pieten to Mill on Sunday, November 16th, as the Stichting Kinderfeesten Mill hosted a festive arrival and subsequent program for local children. The annual event drew meaningful community participation, marking another accomplished year for the beloved tradition.
The Sinterklaas celebration in Mill is a cornerstone of the community’s holiday season, fostering joy and excitement for children and families. This year’s event, organized by the Stichting Kinderfeesten Mill, continues a long-standing tradition of bringing the magic of Sinterklaas to the village, offering a cherished experience for residents and reinforcing a sense of community spirit.
Locoburgemeester and wethouder bouke van Vught, representing the municipality of Land van Cuijk, officially welcomed Sinterklaas. The goedheiligman recounted a thrilling journey this year,expressing his delight at returning to Mill.”Een oud Spaans spreekwoord zegt: Waar je wezen wil, is Mill,” Sinterklaas quipped during his address.
