Seoul to Host Global BBQ Festival, Premium Meat Bookings Begin September 10
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA - The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) will launch Seoul BBQ Festa, a culinary tourism festival celebrating Korean barbeque culture, October 25-26 at Noeul Park’s camping grounds (108-2 Haneulgongwon-ro, Mapo-gu). The event aims to showcase the diversity of Korean grilling traditions to both domestic and international visitors.
Booking for the “All-In-One Self-BBQ Zone” opens Wednesday, September 10, at 11 AM via the festival’s official website (seoulbbqfesta.com).This zone will offer attendees the opportunity to purchase premium domestic meats, including hanu beef and handon pork, at special prices for on-site grilling.
Seoul BBQ Festa will feature “Seoul’s Top 3 BBQ Restaurants,” presenting festival-exclusive menus from Namyeongdon – known for its consistently long lines - T.A.K, led by chef Oh Joon-tak of Culinary Class Wars fame, and haebong Jeongyook, a meat shop recommended by singer Sung Si-kyung.
The festival also includes “K-BBQ road,” a curated experience demonstrating a range of korean barbeque techniques, equipment, ingredients, and cooking styles.on-site services will further enhance visitor convenience.
