Selena Gomez‘s mother,Mandy teefey,revealed she walked her daughter down teh aisle at her recent wedding to Benny blanco. The intimate ceremony took place following a proposal that included Gomez’s favorite fast food, Taco Bell.
Teefey shared the heartwarming detail in a post on Instagram, accompanied by a photo from the wedding captured by Petra Collins. The revelation adds a personal touch to the couple’s story, which began years earlier with a meeting orchestrated by Teefey herself.Gomez and Blanco were married after a relationship that blossomed from a connection initially fostered through music.
The couple previously shared with Interview magazine that Teefey initially set up a meeting between Gomez and Blanco when Gomez was around 16 or 17 to discuss music. Blanco recalled that this was around the time he was gaining prominence, and Gomez was not yet established as a singer.their first collaboration resulted in music released in 2013.
