Sean Diddy Combs Transferred to Pennsylvania Prison Over Contraband
Sean Combs Moved to Pennsylvania Prison Following FCI Fort Dix Fight and Contraband Scrutiny
Sean “Diddy” Combs was transferred from a New Jersey correctional facility to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania on October 16, 2026, according to the US Federal Bureau of Prisons. The 56-year-old was moved following reports of contraband access, which resulted in the loss of 41 days of good conduct and a revised release date of March 2, 2028.
Contraband Reports and Disciplinary Actions at Fort Dix
Prior to the transfer, NBC News reported that the Bad Boy Records founder had access to mobile phones, liquor, and other contraband while housed at Fort Dix, alongside allegations that he paid inmates to cook, clean, make his bed, and give him massages. Deadline noted that Combs faced serious consequences for sneaking a smartphone into the facility and maintaining a paid inmate staff. As a result of these infractions, prison officials stripped Combs of 41 days for good conduct, pushing his scheduled release back from January 2028 to March 2, 2028.
Conflicting Accounts Surrounding the Prison Altercation
TMZ reported that Combs sustained a severe head injury during a fight with Jamaican drug lord Christopher Coke, known as “Dudus,” over inmates getting into trouble due to the security raids. Page Six reported that the record executive hit his head on a bunk bed, while Loren LoRosa told Breakfast Club listeners that a family member insisted there was no fight at all and that the wound was nothing serious. Deadline confirmed that Combs was taken to a nearby hospital with a head injury on October 10 and returned to Fort Dix late on Saturday. Combs’ spokesman, Juda S Engelmayer, stated that they had no way of independently verifying the alleged fight between inmates.
Transfer to FCI Allenwood Low and Current Legal Status
Combs’ spokesman told bbc.co.uk that the transfer from one low-security facility to another was consistent with a decision made with safety and security in mind. FCI Allenwood Low is a low-security federal correctional institution located about 155 miles west of New York City, housing approximately 1,044 inmates compared to the population of more than 4,200 at Fort Dix. Meanwhile, Combs has asked an appeals court to release him from prison and overturn his conviction on two prostitution-related crimes from his July 2025 trial.
