Sean “diddy” Combs is facing a new lawsuit from stylist Willie nash, who previously testified in a federal raid investigation against the music mogul. The suit, filed in New York, alleges Combs used “power and threats of harm” to control Nash and silence him for years.
Nash’s lawsuit names Combs,as well as his companies Bad Boy Entertainment and Combs Global,as co-defendants,seeking justice after allegedly being silenced by threats for years. The complaint details a pattern of coercive control, claiming Combs compelled Nash to do his bidding and prevented him from leaving the defendants’ control, even after his employment ended. “Though defendants have silenced him for years,mr.Nash is no longer willing to give in to this fear for his life and is now standing up to demand justice,” the lawsuit states.
The lawsuit arrives as Combs awaits sentencing on Oct. 3 following a federal conviction and is simultaneously battling numerous civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct. He has challenged many of these suits as being too old for consideration. A federal judge recently permanently dismissed 21 of 22 causes of action in a $60 million racketeering lawsuit brought by Making the Band 2 contestant sara Rivers, with a decision pending on the final claim of sexual assault. Rivers is currently appealing that dismissal.
This latest legal challenge adds to the mounting pressure on Combs as he navigates a complex web of legal battles and public scrutiny. The outcome of Nash’s suit, and the ongoing appeals in the Rivers case, could significantly impact Combs’ legal standing and future.
