Sardinian Regional Teams Announce Staff for 2026 LND Regions Tournament
Sa Rodia, Sardinia – The technical staff for the CR Sardinia regional football teams set to compete in the 2026 LND Regions Tournament in Puglia, from March 27th to April 3rd, was officially unveiled today at the Tino Carta Federal Center. The announcement marks a continuation of a long-standing project focused on developing young talent within the region.
CR Sardinia President and NLD Vice President Gianni Cadoni emphasized the importance of continuity, acknowledging the contributions of outgoing technicians Cantara, Testoni, Malfitano, and Cossu. “They have done valuable work,” Cadoni stated, extending a welcome to the new staff members and expressing gratitude to those continuing their roles. The presentation included the regional committee’s organizational staff alongside the newly appointed technical team, featuring the return of Andrea Contini and Omar Rivolta as coaches, and the experience of Luca Lapa, previously collaborating with the Representatives’ staff. A key addition is Antonio Floris, named as the coach for the women’s team.
Cadoni highlighted the core values underpinning the sardinian teams’ participation: “We help our kids grow,at the Tournament they have the possibility to live a unique sporting and social experience.”
Also in attendance were CR Sardegna Vice President Francesco Mereu, Board Member Mathias Urru, and Regional Delegate of women’s football Federica Arca.
