Samsung Continues too Mock Apple Following iPhone 17 Event
Published: October 24, 2024
Samsung is relentlessly teasing Apple on social media following the iPhone 17 presentation on Tuesday evening. The South Korean tech giant launched a series of pointed posts on X,utilizing the hashtag #icant to highlight features Apple is now introducing that Samsung has offered for some time.
The campaign began swiftly after Apple’s announcement. Samsung’s first post directly addressed Apple’s new live translation feature, stating, “Apple has just announced live translation during ZZZ-Note. Everything we can say is: welcome to the party.”
Further jabs followed, with Samsung pointing out the lengthy wait for certain features. “People had to wait five years for a sleep score on their Apple Watch,” one post read, while another emphasized the difference in camera technology, stating that ”three 48 megapixel cameras is not the same as 200 megapixels.”

Samsung also revisited a 2022 campaign, resurfacing a post from a previous Apple event that asked,”let us know when it can fold.” The company added to the throwback, commenting,”I can’t believe that this is still relevant.”
The playful criticism didn’t end with the event. Samsung is currently running a giveaway, promoted with the message: ”If you have heard yourself say #icant several times during the ZZZ-Note, then this is for you.”
