Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab S11 Series Powered by 3nm Dimensity 9400+ Chip
Jakarta, Indonesia - Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Tab S11 Series, comprising the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. both tablets are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, built on a 3nm architecture.
According to Jay Kim, executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience office, Mobile Experience business at Samsung electronics, the new series “combines AI innovation with enhanced hardware to present the real multitasking experience.”
The Galaxy Tab S11 features an 11-inch 2x Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The larger Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra boasts a 14.6-inch screen with the same specifications, and adds an anti-reflection layer.
Both models utilize the 3nm Dimensity 9400+ chip, enabling advanced artificial intelligence (AI) functions designed to enhance user productivity. The tablets run One UI 8, based on android 16.0, providing a responsive multimodal AI experience.
Key AI features include Gemini Live, drawing Assist, Writing Assist, and Circle to Search. Samsung DeX has also been improved, offering expanded capabilities for cross-application multitasking.
Camera specifications differ slightly between the two models. Both feature a 12MP ultrawide front-facing camera. The Galaxy Tab S11 has a 13MP rear camera,while the galaxy Tab S11 Ultra includes a 13MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens.
Connectivity options include 5G for both tablets. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra supports Wi-Fi 7, while the Galaxy Tab S11 is compatible with Wi-Fi 6E.
The Galaxy Tab S11 is available with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra offers configurations with 12GB or 16GB of RAM, paired with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage.Powering the devices are an 8400 mAh battery in the Galaxy Tab S11 and a 1,600 mAh battery in the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Both models support 45W fast charging.
The Galaxy tab S11 Series is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance.S Pen support is included in the box.
The tablets will be available in gray and Silver, starting September 4th in select markets.
