Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap, a prominent couple in Indian badminton, have announced their separation after nearly seven years of marriage.Nehwal shared the news of their decision to part ways via her official social media channels.
The duo, who married on December 15, 2018, were well-recognized figures in the sports community, having both achieved meaningful international success for India. nehwals proclamation on her Instagram story indicated that they are moving in different directions in life and have chosen peace, growth, and healing for themselves.
“Life takes us in different directions sometimes. After much thought and consideration, Kashyap Parupalli and I have decided to part ways.We’re choosing peace, growth, and healing – for ourselves and each other. I’m grateful for the memories and wish nothing but the best moving forward. Thank you for understanding and respecting our privacy during this time,” Nehwal stated in her Instagram story.
Parupalli Kashyap has not yet publicly commented on the separation. However, approximately six hours before Nehwal’s announcement, Kashyap posted an Instagram story showing him attending the Awakenings Festival in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands, with friends. The festival took place from July 11-13.
Prior to their marriage, both Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap trained at the Pullela Gopichand academy in Hyderabad.they were both top-tier athletes in their sport. Nehwal is celebrated for her Olympic bronze medal and other stellar performances, while Kashyap earned a gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
