Ryan Giggs Snubbed Again as⁤ Premier⁣ League Hall of Fame Omissions draw Criticism

MANCHESTER, England ​- Despite a glittering career spanning over two decades​ with Manchester United, Welsh legend Ryan Giggs continues to be overlooked by the Premier League Hall of Fame, sparking debate⁢ among fans and pundits.‌ The latest inductions have onc‌ again ‍excluded the former⁢ winger, whose ⁤record ‍remains unparalleled⁤ in terms‌ of longevity and⁣ success with‍ a‍ single club.

Giggs played 963 games and scored 188 goals for Manchester United ⁤between 1990 and 2014. He secured a remarkable‍ 13 Premier⁢ League titles, four FA Cups, and ⁤four League Cups, alongside two Champions League victories in 1999 and 2008.‌ He also earned 64 international caps for Wales. Despite these achievements,and being⁤ named Premier League Player of the Year‍ in 2008,Giggs has⁤ yet to receive ⁣recognition ​from the Hall of Fame.

The Premier League ⁣Hall of Fame was established in‌ 2021, ⁣with Alan shearer and Thierry henry as its inaugural inductees. ‌Subsequent additions include Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, Frank Lampard,​ Dennis Bergkamp,‍ Steven Gerrard, David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Patrick Vieira,⁣ Sergio Agüero, Didier ‍Drogba, Vincent Kompany, Peter Schmeichel, Ashley‌ Cole, Andy Cole, and John Terry. Managers Sir ⁣Alex Ferguson and‍ Arsene ​Wenger have also ‍been honored.Giggs briefly served as Manchester United’s interim manager following ⁢David⁣ Moyes’ dismissal and later as assistant manager under Louis van Gaal. He ⁣was named to the PFA Team of the Year on ​six occasions during his⁣ playing career.
