The 2026 Guinness Men’s Six Nations Championship begins on February 5th with a match between France and Ireland, kicking off a tournament that will see England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales compete for the title of unofficial European champion.

The tournament, running through March 14th, will consist of 15 matches broadcast live in Germany on ProSieben MAXX and streamed on Joyn. Joyn will also offer exclusive coverage of the U20 Six Nations games, providing a platform to showcase emerging rugby talent.

According to a press release from ran.de, the Six Nations is an annual rugby competition traditionally contested by England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales. While the German national team does not participate, the tournament draws significant viewership across Europe.

The opening match between France and Ireland is scheduled for February 5th, with a 20:50 CET start time. Further matches scheduled for the first weekend include Italy versus Scotland on February 7th at 14:50 CET, and England versus Wales at 17:20 CET, both times CET. Results from the opening weekend already show France defeating Ireland 36-14, Italy losing to Scotland 18-15, and England overcoming Wales 48-7. Subsequent matches on February 14th saw Ireland beat Italy 20-13.

The tournament’s broadcast schedule includes a match between France and England on March 14th, 2026, with coverage beginning at 20:40 CET and concluding at 23:10 CET. Commentating on the match will be Jan Lüdeke, with Manuel Wilhelm providing additional analysis.

Six Nations 2026: France will attempt to defend its title, having won the championship six times. England currently holds the record for most Six Nations titles, with seven victories. The tournament will be broadcast live on ProSieben MAXX and streamed on Joyn and ran.de.
