London, UK – Prince harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, are allegedly positioning themselves to become the focal point of the Royal Family, according to royal expert Richard Eden. The claim comes following Prince Harry’s recent four-day visit to the UK for charitable engagements, which included a reunion with his father, King Charles.
Eden, diary editor for the Daily Mail, expressed skepticism about the potential for reconciliation, stating, “Obviously, I can understand a father wanting to meet his son. Who wouldn’t? The problem is,he is not just a father,he is our Head of State,and I think Harry and Meghan are bad news for the Royal Family.” he further asserted that the couple repeatedly exploits their royal connections.
The meeting between Harry and Charles at Clarence House on Wednesday marked their first encounter in 19 months. While some observers have suggested the meeting signals a path toward healing fractured relationships, Eden believes Harry and Meghan’s ambitions extend beyond familial reconciliation.
“We have seen time and time again that they can’t be trusted,” Eden wrote. “They exploit their royal connections, and I don’t think it’s being paranoid to say that they want to be the alternative Royal Family.” He specifically stated they “want to replace Prince William and Catherine as the principal royals, and they undermine them.”
This latest commentary adds to ongoing scrutiny of harry and Meghan’s relationship with the Royal Family following their decision to step back as senior royals in 2020.
