Riyadh, where Ronaldo and his family reside, was recently targeted by Iranian strikes in retaliation for attacks attributed to the United States and Israel. The American embassy in the Saudi capital was reportedly hit by drones, prompting Saudi Arabia to intercept three drones east of Riyadh.

The couple’s engagement was announced in August 2025, with Rodríguez sharing a photo of her diamond ring on Instagram.
