Ron Meraz Appointed Citi Wealth Regional Director for California and Nevada
Citi has announced that Ron Meraz will join its leadership team as the wealth regional director for California and Nevada. David toward, head of U.S. wealth management at Citi, shared the news of Meraz’s appointment.
Meraz, a seasoned industry leader wiht a 30-year career, comes to Citi from Merrill Lynch. He began his career as a financial advisor and rapidly ascended to management positions. Meraz is recognized for his extensive client and industry relationships across the southwestern United States.
In his new capacity,Meraz will lead Citi’s local wealth teams,which operate across more than 275 branches. His responsibilities will include enhancing productivity, promoting investments, and capitalizing on referral opportunities to drive the company’s growth strategy.
Meraz is scheduled to officially begin his tenure at Citi in August. In the interim period, Frank Consalo, head of national sales, will continue to manage Citi’s California market.
