Rogers is introducing WiFi 7 to select areas of Calgary through Rogers Xfinity. According to Bret Leech, President, Residential, Rogers, this launch is “first in a series of launches this year to bring the latest technology to more Canadians.”
The company says WiFi 7 offers enhanced speed, broader coverage, and improved adaptability, facilitating a highly dependable, low-latency user experience. Rogers reports that its new Rogers Xfinity router in Alberta stands as its most powerful to date. It delivers multi-gig symmetrical speeds over WiFi and supports connections for over 200 devices simultaneously.
The router is exclusively available with Rogers Xfinity’s Pro 4G plan. This plan delivers download speeds up to 4 Gbps and upload speeds reaching 1 Gbps.
