Rodez residents will have opportunities this December to engage in crucial conversations surrounding mental health and family dynamics, spurred by screenings of the documentary “Everything to be happy?”
The film, directed by Jérôme Adam, intimately portrays families across diverse locations-Champagne, Normandy, Paris, New York, and Barcelona-and tackles ofen-unspoken challenges. Following the 85-minute screening, professionals from Csapa and volunteers from Unafam will facilitate discussions aimed at creating a supportive surroundings to address parenting, family relationships, and the connection to substance use. These events are notably timely as mental health awareness grows and access to open dialog remains vital for families navigating complex issues.
The film-debate evening begins Friday, December 5, at the Doline room in Sébazac. Repeat screenings and discussions are scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, at 8 p.m. in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, at the auditorium of the Interactis building, chemin de Treize Pierres (reservations required at 06 26 11 69 78). A final event will be held Friday, December 12, at 8:30 p.m. at the Amio conference room, 32 avenue de la République, in Millau. The goal is to provide a judgment-free space for individuals to explore these sensitive topics and connect with resources.
