“Maskorama” Host Admits She’s Relieved Not to Know Identities
NRK presenter Silje Nordnes revealed she shares the same level of mystery surrounding “Maskorama” contestants as the viewing public, expressing relief she isn’t burdened wiht keeping the celebrities’ identities secret. This season features a new participant known as “The Junk Santa.”
Nordnes explained that maintaining confidentiality would have been a notable challenge,admitting she likely wouldn’t have been able to manage the pressure without accidentally revealing a clue. The host detailed strict protocols she must follow, including restricted movement and constant accompaniment, even for basic necessities like using the restroom.
“I am allowed to take part in the guessing game on the same level as the rest of Norway, and I see that as an advantage,” Nordnes stated. she added, ”I don’t know if I would have managed it, and would have been very afraid to reveal it. I don’t think I would have dared to open my mouth, so I am happy that I don’t have to keep the secrets.”
