It was her husband, Ladd, affectionately known as “Pa-Pa,” whose singing managed to captivate the infant, providing a precious four minutes of peace.
The heartwarming moment, captured on a Sunday in July 2025, showcased a new parenting strategy for the Drummond family. Sofia, the granddaughter, became entirely engrossed in Ladd’s singing, a welcome respite for Ree, who humorously noted this new “baby trick” had been unlocked.
