Bundeswehr launches “Red Storm Bravo” Military Exercise in Hamburg
Hamburg, Germany – September 25, 2025 – The German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) commenced the “Red Storm Bravo” military exercise today in Hamburg, a large-scale operation designed to enhance readiness and coordination for potential national security challenges. The exercise,scheduled to conclude at the end of September,will involve a range of scenarios focused on bolstering defense capabilities within an urban habitat.
This exercise arrives at a time of heightened geopolitical tension and increasing focus on national resilience. “Red Storm Bravo” aims to prepare the Bundeswehr for a spectrum of potential crises, from natural disasters to defense against hybrid threats.
