Realme C85 Launches ‌in Indonesia with Record-breaking Battery and Durability

Jakarta, Indonesia -‍ November 20, 2025 ⁤ – Realme ‌has officially unveiled its C85 Series smartphone at a Media Hands-On event in Jakarta, marking a notable​ step for the company⁤ in the entry-level market. The C85 series succeeds ‍the Realme C75 and introduces considerable upgrades, most notably a massive 7,000mAh battery and industry-leading⁣ IP69K protection.

According to Krisva Angnieszca,⁢ public Relations Lead for Realme⁣ Indonesia, the launch aims to “present a new standard in this segment.” She emphasized, “Realme C85 is the first cellphone in Indonesia with ⁤IP69K, where the cellphone is resistant ⁣to liquids, ⁤high pressure water and extreme temperatures.”

Power to‍ Last: 7,000mAh Battery with Fast Charging

The Realme C85 boasts a 7,000mAh battery, designed to cater to users who frequently work, stream ⁢content, or engage in outdoor‍ activities.Realme claims the battery provides up‌ to 11 hours of active use – encompassing streaming, chatting, and navigation – ‍and‍ can⁢ be rapidly⁤ recharged in approximately 5-15 minutes using 45W fast charging technology.

The battery’s resilience extends beyond capacity; it has been rigorously tested to maintain stable⁣ performance in extreme temperatures, ranging from 40°C​ heat to -14°C cold.

Unrivaled Protection: IP69K and Beyond

Realme is ‍highlighting the⁤ C85’s remarkable durability with ‍its IP69 Pro protection, which incorporates four resistance standards: IP69K, IP69, IP68, ​and IP66. Krisva Angnieszca explained that the IP69K rating is a key differentiator.‌

“This standard is designed to withstand high pressure water spray⁢ and extreme temperatures of up to 100 degrees Celsius,” she stated.

The Android smartphone is also capable ⁢of⁢ surviving submersion ⁣in one meter of ⁢water for up to 30 minutes. Realme has subjected the device ⁣to testing against 36 different liquids, including water, coffee, tea, cooking oil,​ milk, and petrol, to ensure its robustness.
