Viewers sent in clips capturing storm activity and changing skies. Emily Bilal captured footage from her neighborhood, noting the unusual atmospheric conditions. As she pointed to the storm activity, she stated, “Super cool clouds down here in the desert. I don’t know if you can hear it, but we did have thunder,” according to News 3 LV.

Jacob, a three-year resident of Las Vegas, observed that Sunday stood out as one of the mildest afternoons of the season so far. Describing the weather, he noted, “Today’s a lot cooler because the clouds are out and I think it ‘rained’ if we call it that here, but we got a little bit of water,” adding that it felt like “one of the coolest days of the summer so far,” according to News 3 LV.

Jacob also reflected on how intensely summer weather patterns have fluctuated during his time in the region. Recalling prior years, he stated that roughly two years ago marked the hottest summer he had ever experienced in Las Vegas, with temperatures breaking local records. He explained that the following year brought slightly cooler conditions, while the current season has tracked somewhere in the middle, according to News 3 LV.
