Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram​ Celebrate anniversary with ⁢Baby News

Bollywood actors Randeep Hooda‍ and lin‌ laishram have announced they are expecting‌ their first child, coinciding with their second wedding anniversary. The couple shared the ⁢news via a‍ heartwarming ​Instagram ​post ‍featuring a photo of them by a‌ bonfire, dressed in⁢ coordinating beige outfits, and a caption ‌reading, “Two years of love, adventure, and now a little wild one on ⁤the way.”

Hooda ​and Laishram’s relationship blossomed‍ from a friendship forged within​ Naseeruddin Shah’s theater group, Motley,⁣ culminating⁢ in their marriage in 2023. The wedding was a deeply personal ⁣affair held in ‌Imphal, Manipur, ⁣honoring Laishram’s ‍cultural heritage with a ⁤traditional Meitei ceremony. Hooda actively participated in and ⁣respected the local customs, donning traditional attire alongside his bride, who was adorned with intricate gold jewelry.

Prior to the wedding, Hooda expressed his ​desire to embrace Laishram’s culture, stating, “It feels very⁣ good. I felt it was only respectful to come and marry ‌in the bride’s tradition. Though, ⁤I ​have heard that in Meitei ⁢love marriages, the groom has to sit for a very long time. So,⁢ that’s something, but I am looking forward to the ceremony and traditions. I want to⁤ experience my life partner’s culture – that’s why I⁤ am here.”

Lin‍ Laishram has appeared in several notable ⁢films including “Om Shanti om” (2007), “Mary Kom” (2014), “Umrika”​ (2015), ​and “Rangoon” ⁤(2017), and continues to pursue creative‍ endeavors alongside her acting⁤ career. Randeep Hooda recently played‌ the antagonist in ‍”Jaat” opposite Sunny Deol and is slated to appear in the upcoming American film⁢ “Matchbox,” directed‌ by Sam Hargrave and starring John Cena and Jessica Biel, scheduled for release in 2026.
