Queens Of The Stone Age Launch Fan Complaints Helpline
Queens Of The Stone Age launched a 24/7 complaints hotline on Wednesday, August 5, inviting fans, friends, and foes to dial +1 (760) 437-1966 to air their moans, groans, and grievances. According to NME, the band stated that no bitching is too big and no whiny is too tiny for their new listening platform.
Behind the Dial: The Logistics of a Rock Band’s Grievance Hotline
Per reporting from NME, the newly established platform ensures that every single grievance shared on the hotline will be reviewed personally. Callers receive a live ear at the other end of the line, and while unconfirmed, the band hinted that members may occasionally field calls directly.
Touring Schedules and New Music Momentum
The launch of the hotline arrives on the heels of Queens Of The Stone Age releasing ‘Easy Street’, marking their first new single since the 2023 studio album ‘In Times New Roman…’. Fans first heard the track live last autumn during the band’s ‘Catacombs’ tour.
The band recently completed a stint opening for System Of A Down on their UK and European stadium tour, where they dusted off deep cuts from their 2007 release ‘Era Vulgaris’. Frontman Josh Homme also appeared on ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’. Looking ahead, the band is slated to open for Foo Fighters on the North American leg of their ‘Take Cover’ stadium tour, and will be playing their first Icelandic show since 2005 this coming October.
