The updated calendar and work arrangements impact all public schools within Qatar,affecting approximately 300,000 students and over 20,000 teachers. This initiative responds to ongoing evaluations of the national education system and seeks to align Qatar’s academic standards with international best practices. The Ministry stated the changes are designed to improve student outcomes and attract and retain qualified educators.
