Jakarta - PT Abadi Lestari Indonesia (RLCO), a swallow’s nest exporting company, announced plans to launch an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) slated to begin December 8, 2025. The company intends to offer 625 million shares, representing 20% of its issued and fully paid capital following the IPO, at a price range of IDR 150 to IDR 168 per share.
The offering aims to raise up to IDR 105 billion (approximately USD $6.6 million based on current exchange rates) to bolster the company’s working capital and fund strategic investments. According to the IPO prospectus, 56.33% of the proceeds will be allocated to purchasing raw materials - swallow’s nests – for working capital, while the remaining 43.67% will be invested in PT Realfood Winta Asia for raw material procurement.
RLCO’s move comes as Indonesia’s swallow’s nest industry experiences critically important growth. In 2024, the country’s swallow’s nest exports totaled US$551,556, and domestic sales of health-focused swallow’s nest products through online marketplaces reached IDR 10.7 trillion, with food supplements accounting for approximately 55% of that figure.
The company is strategically targeting Indonesia’s rapidly expanding upper middle class, recognizing their purchasing power as crucial for long-term growth. RLCO anticipates continued strong demand for swallow’s nests, particularly from key Asian markets including China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. “The prospects for swallow’s nests are very promising as demand increases,” the company stated.
