Project Runway Season 21 Trailer Dominates Freeform – Heidi Klum Returns

The trailer for the upcoming 21st season of Project Runway has generated critically important buzz, amassing 42.7 million views across multiple platforms within nine days of its July 1 release. This performance marks it as the highest-performing trailer in freeform’s history, according to Disney. The strong viewership indicates a high level of anticipation from fans for the return of Heidi Klum to the iconic fashion competition series.

This impressive trailer performance sets a promising stage for Project Runway‘s new season on Freeform. For context, a previous report indicated that the trailer for Season 2 of Freeform’s Cruel Summer was projected to break a similar record with approximately 24 million views in 10 days two years prior, highlighting the substantial reach of the Project Runway trailer.

Heidi Klum is set to host and serve as a judge for season 21. She will be joined on the judging panel by original judge nina Garcia and fashion expert Law Roach. Christian Siriano will return to mentor the competing designers.

Originally premiering on Bravo in 2004, Project Runway significantly impacted the reality television landscape. The show aired for five seasons on Bravo before moving to Lifetime for eleven seasons. It later returned to Bravo for its 17th season, completing four more seasons on the network.

The series is produced by Spyglass Media Group and Alfred Street Industries. Executive producers include gary Barber and Sean Hoagland for Spyglass, and Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, Michael Rucker, and San Heng for Alfred Street Industries. heidi Klum, Christian Siriano, and Nina Garcia also hold executive producer credits.

Season 21 of Project Runway will debut with a two-episode premiere on Thursday, July 31, at 9 p.m. ET on Freeform. Episodes will be available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+ shortly after their broadcast.Subsequent episodes will air weekly at 10 p.m. ET.
