Program Performance & Learning Coordinator – MAG International
MAG International is seeking a Programme Performance and Learning Coordinator to strengthen its ability to demonstrate the impact of its vital work. Reporting to the Head of the Programmes Performance and learning Unit, this role will also provide support to the Contract Director in the monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes for complex, multi-country contracts, specifically the UK FCDO Global Mine Action Programme (GMAP) and the Dutch MFA Mine Action and Cluster Munitions (MACM) programme.
The Coordinator will be instrumental in supporting programmes to collect and analyse data, tracking project and programme impact. This includes contributing to both internal and external evaluations, and developing compelling case studies and learning materials for internal and external dissemination. A key aspect of the role involves collaborating closely with programme and technical staff to refine project delivery and enhance overall programme performance, maximizing the effectiveness of MAG’s life-saving activities.
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience in monitoring and evaluation within complex programmes, with a preference for experience in conflict or post-conflict settings. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with donors, partners, governments, and internal teams. Familiarity with MEAL (monitoring,Evaluation,Accountability,and learning) approaches common in humanitarian organizations is required,alongside knowledge of project planning tools like Theory of Change,logframes,and results-based management.
Candidates should be proficient in data analysis and capable of presenting findings clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. The role demands a balance between meticulous attention to detail in contract delivery and a strategic understanding of long-term change, underpinned by a commitment to MAG’s mission, vision, and values.
