Royal Cousins Attend Fundraiser,Share Memories of Diana
In a recent display of family solidarity,cousins Amelia and Eliza Spencer,nieces of teh late Princess Diana,were present to support their older cousin William at a fundraiser for the London air Ambulance. The event highlighted the continued close ties within the Spencer family.
The twins, Amelia and Eliza, have previously spoken about their “incredibly warm, maternal and loving” aunt. In a 2021 joint interview with Tatler, they shared cherished memories of Diana. Eliza reflected on the profound impact of Diana’s death in 1997, stating, “As a child, I realised the enormity of the loss for my father and family. It was only later that I came to understand the significance of the loss of her as a figure in the world.”
Amelia marked a notable personal milestone in 2023, marrying her long-term partner Greg Mallett in a mountain-top ceremony in Cape Town, with her siblings in attendance. Simultaneously occurring, Kitty Spencer, another cousin, pursued her academic interests by reading psychology at the university of Cape Town. Her career has also seen her achieve success in the fashion industry, modelling for prominent brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, for whom she has served as a muse, and bvlgari.
Kitty’s involvement in royal events is also notable; she received invitations to the weddings of her cousins Prince William and Prince Harry. Her social media presence frequently enough features her attending fashion shows in major global cities like London and Milan, underscoring her engagement with the fashion world.
